Welcome to Rock and Rose Photography, Specialist Newborn and Family Photographers

We are two fun bubbly girls who love nothing more than taking photographs. They say never work with children or animals and we do both!  We’ve been capturing first smiles, first steps and all of the giggles in between for over 15 years now and we wouldn’t change it for the world!

We both dreamed of creating a modern studio where we could have the freedom to be spontaneous and imaginative, shooting our own unique style of studio photography and so Rock and Rose Photography was born. We opened our lovely studio in the heart of Surbiton in 2012. After 10 busy and fantastic years we made the exciting decision to spread our wings and go mobile!

We are now delighted to offer Newborn and family photography sessions as well as milestone sessions, maternity sessions, branding & commercial at home or on location in Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire and surrounding areas.

This allows our clients to relax and enjoy a beautiful photography session with us from the comfort of your own home as well as exploring and capturing natural and exciting location photographs in some of the most beautiful parts of the country and coast.

We pride ourselves in forming a close bond with everyone we photograph and developing a relationship that will last a lifetime.

I could not recommend Rock and Rose Photography enough. I had a photo shoot for my newborn son and family and absolutely love the memories Cate captured. It was so hard to choose which photos to put up in our home. Cate couldn’t do enough in the shoot and made us feel very relaxed in order to get the perfect photographs. My parents have said they have never had a good photo of themselves and love the ones Cate took. Cate had such a selection of props to try out different shots and took the time to get them spot on. It was lovely to get our first photographs of our son captured in our home. Cate even managed to capture his first smile which just topped it off. I had my daughters newborn shoot with Orli and it was the best experience ever. Orli was patient and took her time and the pictures are just beautiful. I can’t believe how cute they look. We had a wonderful newborn shoot almost 2 years ago with our baby girl, followed by a shoot with all 3 of our babies. The photos are amazing and take pride of place in our home. Cate captured our children’s personalities in the photos and they are so natural. Our newborn shoot with both Orli and Cate was perfect, it was relaxed, baby led and not rushed. The photos are incredible and it makes me so proud to see our little Amelie featured on your Facebook page. Rock and Rose, were absolutely amazing doing our newborn shoot and family portraits. Cate was calm, patient, attentive and her attention to detail is out of this world. Cate, made me feel so relaxed, as I was a bit self-conscious being 9 days postpartum. She took time to listen to our ideas and what we wanted from the shoot.
